Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what data testra, operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], collects and how we use it. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service and never sell your data. This is a plain-language draft for early access.

01What we collect

Account data: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Project data: the application URLs, test accounts and connection details you configure. Credentials you provide for connected systems are encrypted at rest.

Testing artifacts: screenshots, page snapshots, console and network logs, and the findings the agent produces while testing the applications you connect.

Usage data: basic logs and analytics about how the Service is used, to keep it reliable.

02How we use it

To operate the Service — run tests, produce findings, and show them in your dashboard; to secure and improve the Service; and to communicate with you about your account. We do not use the contents of your connected applications to train third-party models.

03Credentials and connected systems

Credentials you supply so testra can sign in to your applications are encrypted at rest and used only to perform the testing you configure. You can remove them at any time by deleting the project or its accounts.

04AI processing

testra uses large language models to plan tests and interpret what it sees. Content required for a test (such as page snapshots) may be processed by our AI provider under their enterprise terms solely to deliver the Service.

05Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run testra (such as hosting and our AI provider), under contract, and where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

06Cookies & analytics

The marketing site sets one first-party cookie: an anonymous visitor id used to count visits, see where they came from, and measure whether people go on to create an account. No IP addresses are stored and nothing is shared with third-party analytics services. You can switch this off with the cookie settings control below, and we automatically honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals.

07Retention

We keep testing artifacts and findings while your project is active so you can review history. Deleting a project or account removes its associated data within a reasonable period, subject to backups and legal obligations.

08Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. To exercise them, contact us using the details below.

09Payments

During early access testra does not process payments and does not collect or store payment-card data. This section will be updated before any paid plans are introduced.

Cookie settings

We use one first-party cookie on this site: an anonymous visitor id that tells us how people find testra and whether the landing page works. No IP addresses, no fingerprinting, no third parties. Turn it off and we stop counting you entirely — we also honor your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals automatically.
